OMG.... Fiat 500 by Gucci Collection

I want one...

Gucci introduce the 500 by
Gucci Collection, in celebration of the partnership between two of Italy’s most iconic brands. Inspired by the special edition Fiat 500 customized by Creative Director Frida Giannini in partnership with Fiat’s Centro Stile, this line of ready to wear and accessories uniquely combines craftsmanship and style for a modern travel statement.

Featuring the House’s signature green-red-green web, the Collection mirrors the 500 by Gucci with its contemporary contrast of black and white. Tracksuits, bombers, polos, and t-shirts represent a relaxed, effortless style for those on the go. Leather drivers feature the iconic horsebit while the GG pattern appears across the pilot cases, duffle bags, backpacks, small leather goods, and hats.

Designers Sketch Their Suggestions for Kate Middleton’s Wedding Dress

Karl Lagerfeld suggests a Chanel take on “the Victorian wedding dress, with a twist — high boots and open in the front.
“…In Kate I see the natural, radiant and self-confident attitude of today’s girls. For this, I can’t help but think of an embroidered, fluid-silhouette dress in precious fabrics that will help her make an everlasting impression.” — Alberta Ferretti

“Something old: Victorian skirt. Something new: patchwork gown. Something borrowed: Queen Elizabeth’s veil. Something red: Elizabethan top, as red was the wedding color until 1900!” — Christian Lacroix

“It’s entirely different from the Diana dress I designed, which was very much of the Eighties, but it’s still fitting for a royal occasion. It’s a much more modern dress, but romantic and out of the ordinary.” — Elizabeth Emanuel

“I admire the balance Kate Middleton strikes between elegant and contemporary with her unmistakable style. For her, I had in mind clean lines, soft shapes and classic touches such as the boat neckline and distinctive train.” — Frida Giannini, Gucci

“Light as a feather, layers of lace and organza…a dress fit for a princess.” —Peter Copping, Nina Ricci

“We designed a ‘blossoming’ dress because we imagined her as a new Botticellian Venus.” — Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli, Valentino

“…The tradition of intricate hand-pieced lacework in the high-necked bodice with elbow-length sleeves, together with the voluminous skirt of a mixture of stiff and soft silk tulle, feels regal, yet poetic.” — Vera Wang

JENNIFER AND HER KIDS MAKE MODELLING DEBUT!

Jennifer Lopez and twins for gucci
Fashion forward: Max and Emme, Jennifer Lopez' twins, are the new faces of the children's Gucci line
Jennifer, 41, recently spoke about the experience of working with her children for the first time.
'It's the first time I have worked with my kids in that way,' said the hands-on mum.

'It was a totally special experience.'

'I did a photo shoot when they were three weeks old, but now that they are two and a half, it’s totally different.'
It sounds as if Emme is following in her mother's footsteps and is already showing signs of a fashionista where as her son is a little more relaxed.

For a good cause: The new range donates proceeds to UNICEF's Schools For Africa program
'Emme picks out her own outfits and likes to sleep in her princess dress. It’s hard to get Max dressed. He prefers to run around the house with no clothes on.'

The new Gucci range hits stores on November 20 and in honour of the international launch, Gucci is pledging $1 million to UNICEF's Schools For Africa initiative.
They are also donating $50,000 to Jennifer's charity the Maribel Institute.
Jennifer admitted that her and husband Marc Anthony had been hesitant to involve the children until being touched by Gucci designer Frida Giannini's personal plight to improve living and education standards for the most disadvantaged of kids in Africa
'As a mother, I am proud to be a part of this campaign to benefit UNICEF's Schools For Africa programme,' said Jennifer.
