SAVE THE CHILDREN LAUNCH ‘KILLER HEELS TO KICK OUT KILLER DISEASES’

Save the Children launch ‘Killer Heels to kick out Killer Diseases’
Christmas appeal to prevent needless child deaths

I get bombared with press realises every day
but this just caught my eye

im loving the fact that fashionistas can now help with
'killer heels to kick out killer diseases'

Save the Children has taken this modern age passion to create awareness of killer diseases, with the launch of its Christmas campaign

Every year more than 9 million children around the world die from preventable diseases such as pneumonia, malaria, diarrhoea and measles. Save the Children is making an appeal to the fashion industry and the British public to donate their most fabulous party shoes and killer heels and help stamp out these child killers.

It's amazing that such great Designers, fashion brands and celebrities are backing this great cause by donating their most iconic and show stopping killer heels. Nicholas Kirkwood, Pedro Garcia, Atalanta Weller, Rupert Sanderson, Betty Jackson, Georgina Goodman, Melissa, ASOS, Start Boutique, Ted Baker and United Nude are just a few of the designers and stores supporting the campaign. famous faces such as Samantha Cameron, Helena Bonham-Carter, Sienna Miller, Sadie Frost, Pixie Lott, and Sophie Ellis-Bextor have also put their best foot forward and confirmed they too will donate a pair of party shoes.

So people this is where i'm asking you for your help throughout November and December Save the Children will also be appealing to the British public to do their bit by bestowing their most sparkly and glitzy shoes of the season by dropping them off at one of the 120 Save the Children shops nationwide. The shoes will then be displayed at ‘Mary’s Living & Giving shops for Save the Children’ in Stockbridge, Edinburgh and the recently opened store on Westbourne Grove, London before being auctioned off in December to raise money.

.” Ishbel Matheson, from Save the Children" said, Save the Children want to stop these needless deaths. Five pounds is all it takes to save a child’s life; with a pair of shoes selling for £50 we will be able to save 10 children’s lives. We want to save hundreds of thousands of lives so please go through your wardrobes and rifle through your shoe racks. We all own pairs of glitzy shoes that will never to be worn again. Now you can donate them the Save the Children’s Appeal and know that they’ve helped save children’s lives around the world
so come on everyone get inside those closets and find ur glitzy sparkley shoes.
