Set within a circular room of the Royal Opera House, the amazing draped linen created a Circus tent effect and set the scene for the more grown up, more feminine collection. The stark black and white has been toned down this season to include more wearable silk pieces in a palette of khaki, dusky pink and cream - offset subtle metallic fabric.
Soft digital prints on tailored jackets, vests and jumpsuits were temporarily and effectively brought into the mix and were the strength of the collection. However, Sass & Bide’s signature embellishment was never far away with pink gold studding on dresses, gun metal breast plates and large belts. Questionable statement pieces such as the raffia dresses and pink metallic draped trousers.
